Chief Facility Defense fire & life safety services offer the knowledge and experience to handle all the life safety requirements for your property, guaranteeing that your structure is secure and in compliance with all applicable state regulations.

All life safety equipment must undergo quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections. State legislation requires this for the protection of people and property.

Chief Facility Defense’s (CFD) Fire & Life Safety services provide on-site experienced and certified personnel to assist customers with the required inspections, testing and maintenance (ITM) for facility systems.

We at CFD will visit the property and examine each sprinkler head, looking for damage, corrosion, paint, and any laden objects.

Chief Facility Defense will also inspect each fire extinguisher on your premises. Confirming that they are not due for maintenance after 6 or 12 years.

CFD will check the property’s fire extinguishers to make sure they are all visually appealing and undamaged.

At CFD, a team of two inspectors will come to your property for the inspection.

Inspectors for the Chief Facility Defense Fire & Life Safety services are licensed in several life safety specialties

Your fire sprinkler system will be inspected by the lead inspector. The sprinkler system, fire alarm system, and risers that feed the fire sprinkler system will all be inspected by the lead inspector, who is NICE 3 certified.

Your smoke detectors will be examined by a helper inspector who is also trained in fire extinguisher and sprinkler systems in addition to the lead inspector. The inspector will check the dates on your smoke detectors as they are being inspected to ensure that they are all within the required 10 years of date. The 9V batteries will be changed by CFD so that they are also current.

To meet the demands of the client and the property, CFD can offer battery replacement service annually or semi-annually.
